Are you feeling worn out, anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed by life’s challenges? Maybe you're navigating a hard season and just need a space to breathe, process, and be reminded of what’s true. If that’s you—welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

My name is Ashlyn Lanni, and I provide Christ-centered counseling for women who are longing to experience hope, healing, and clarity through the truth of God’s Word. I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and certifications in Biblical Counseling and Christian Trauma Care. More importantly, I deeply believe that Jesus speaks into the real, messy, and painful parts of our stories with wisdom, grace, and lasting hope.

At Women of the Truth, I walk alongside women navigating struggles like:

  • Anxiety & Fear

  • Difficult Emotions

  • Unwanted or Intrusive Thoughts

  • Questioning Faith, God, or Beliefs

  • Dysfunctional Family or Childhood Experiences

  • Identity & Purpose

  • Stress & Exhaustion

  • Life Transitions

  • Dating & Relationships

  • Young Motherhood

With a background in clinical counseling and biblical care, Ashlyn helps women process their stories, confront lies with truth, and grow in faith and resilience.

Wherever you are, and whatever you're facing—God is not distant. He sees you (Genesis 16:13), He knows you intimately (Psalm 139), and He invites you to cast your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7). His truth can meet you right here, and it really can change everything.

What is Biblical Counseling at Women of the Truth?

Biblical counseling is a form of intentional, Christ-centered discipleship that helps women walk through specific struggles with gospel truth, for a season of time. Rooted in the sufficiency of Scripture, it offers guidance for understanding the heart, addressing sin and suffering, and growing in Christlikeness.

At Women of the Truth, we believe that lasting healing and transformation come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Biblical counseling invites women to experience the hope, restoration, and identity found in Him. Through the Word of God, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit, counselees are encouraged to align their lives with God's truth and live out His purpose for them.

It is important to note that biblical counseling is not state licensed counseling.

Who can come for counseling?

While I have experience working with a variety of people, I currently offer biblical counseling to women ages 18 and older. Whether you're walking through a specific struggle or simply longing to grow in your relationship with Christ, you're welcome here.

Is your counseling online only?

Yes—at this time, all sessions are held virtually through Zoom. This allows for flexible scheduling and the ability to meet from the comfort of your own space.

What can I expect?

Counseling sessions typically last about one hour, with the option for extended sessions if needed. Our first meeting—called the intake session—is a time to get to know each other, discuss your current struggles, and begin identifying what goals you'd like to work toward. Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan for your counseling journey.

After the intake, we’ll meet regularly to pursue those goals through honest conversation, biblical truth, prayer, and heart-focused reflection. The number of sessions and the pace of progress vary from person to person. Every story is unique, and we trust the Lord to meet you with grace right where you are. His timing is always wise and grounded in His perfect care for you.

Do you provide diagnosis?

While I have a clinically informed background, I do not offer medical diagnoses or treatment. My role is to provide gospel-centered counseling and soul care. If you need additional support, I’d be glad to help you find the right resources or professionals.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are $95 for a 60-minute individual appointment. This includes both the counseling session and the preparation your counselor invests outside of session time.

That said, I never want finances to be a barrier to receiving care. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to discuss options with you.

At this time, I do not partner with insurance providers.

What is your cancelation policy?

To serve all counselees well, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, the full session fee will be charged.

I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and I’ll do my best to work with you when they do. However, repeated missed appointments may lead to a pause or termination of services.

Thank you for your understanding and respect for this policy—it helps ensure faithful care for everyone involved.

How do I schedule a session?

You can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation or your first counseling session by clicking here: Schedule Me. 😊

New counselees should select “Intake Session” and will be asked to complete a few brief intake forms before we begin. I look forward to connecting with you!

Can you tell me a little bit about your background?

Aside from following Jesus, I spend my days as a wife and mom. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP-accredited) in 2013 and have served in a variety of counseling and ministry roles since then.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a college campus in counseling, administration, and teaching; counseled in both state agency and nonprofit settings; served full-time on a local church staff; and spent time as a Ministry Fellow at Princeton University. I’m certified in Holistic Biblical Counseling and Christian Trauma Care, and I’m currently completing a certification in Christian Apologetics through Biola University.

It’s a joy and a privilege to walk alongside women in many different seasons of life.
