Hi! I’m Ashlyn Lanni

I am so glad you have found this tiny piece of the Internet known as Women of the Truth. In John 14:6, Jesus famously said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” These are extremely important and powerful words that tell us Jesus Christ alone is the answer to the longings and questions all of our souls spend a lifetime seeking. I started this ministry with the hopes of helping women know, believe, and live out the truth of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.

I didn’t grow up as a Christian and lived most of my life seeking after everything but God. In August 2011, Jesus not only saved me but radically transformed my mind, heart, and life. I am forever thankful and forever in love with my Savior.

Aside from being a follower of Christ, I am a wife, mother, and advocate of anything polka-dotted. I spent over 10 years working in higher education in administration, student affairs, and teaching. I’ve also spent over 12 years in vocational ministry, working in counseling settings, the local church, and campus ministry at Princeton University. My undergraduate work is in Communication/Public Relations with minors in Religious Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies. I also have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certification in Holistic Biblical Counseling. I am currently working towards a certification in Christian Apologetics from Biola University.

Whether you’re in a season of hardship and suffering, joy and gladness, or maybe somewhere in between, my prayer for you is that you will experience the presence of Christ in your life and let Him direct every step. I hope Women of Truth can be a tool for you to grow closer to Him and find rest for your soul.
