”Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me” by Jennifer Rothschild
If you’ve stumbled upon this page that means you’re interested in joining our next online ladies Bible study through the book “Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me”! During this 7-week study, we will explore the depths of God’s compassionate care while recognizing that a self-reliant life always leaves us anxious and empty. Whether you’ve been a follower of Jesus your whole life, or perhaps you’re starting your journey with Him for the first time, we’d love to have you. Dates, information, and sign-ups are below! Please reach out if you have any questions. Can’t wait to see you soon! God bless you! — Ashlyn
HOW WILL THE NIGHTS GO?
Beginning on Thursday, February 13, we will meet once a week for seven weeks from 7:00pm-8:30pm eastern time. The first 20-30 minutes will be the teaching video by Jennifer Rothschild. The remaining hour will be discussing the study guide, questions, and anything else the Lord may put on your heart. There is never an obligation to speak, but I hope you will eventually feel comfortable to share! I know in some circumstances you may not be able to have your video on, but if possible, please show your beautiful face to create a more personal feel to the group! :)
Order “Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me” here Our online bible studies are always free to participate in! The only thing you’ll need to purchase is your workbook. You can purchase this for about $22 on Amazon or Lifeway.com.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
– Bible — I recommend English Standard Version (ESV), New King James Version (NKJV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), or Christian Standard Bible (CSB) versions because they are the most closely translated versions to the original Greek/Hebrew/Aramaic languages. The New Living Translation (NLT) and the Amplified Bible (AMP) are also great options for easy to read paraphrasing. Also, if you have a few extra dollars, I would encourage you to get a Study Bible as it helps paint a bigger picture of the context, culture, and locations of biblical events. Let me know if you’d like me to send you recommendations!
HOW WILL WE MEET?
We will use Zoom for this study. It is free. You may need to install it on your computer/phone/tablet. If possible, I would encourage you to use a computer or tablet for easiest viewing and participation. However, if you don’t have a computer or tablet, a phone is fine too!
WHATSAPP
I’d love for us to stay in touch throughout the weeks. Instead of a big text group, we will use the application called WhatsApp. It’s compatible with all phones. It’s a free messaging service and is widely used around the world. Once you sign-up, please download the app and I will send you an invite into the group!
