Am I Truly Saved?
1. Have I trusted in Christ alone for salvation?
Salvation begins not with behavior, but belief.
Do I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who lived perfectly, died for my sin, and rose again
Have I personally repented and placed my faith in Him—not my own efforts—for forgiveness and eternal life?
Read: Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 10:9–10
2. Has my heart changed toward sin and Christ?
Salvation brings new desires—not perfection, but direction.
Do I grieve my sin and desire to grow in holiness?
Do I love Jesus, want to follow Him, and feel conviction if I wander?
Read: 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 John 1:6–9, 1 John 2:3–6
3. Is there evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in me?
The Spirit produces fruit in our lives.
Do I see growth over time in love, joy, peace, patience, self-control, and other fruits of the Spirit?
Do I sense the Spirit leading me into truth, repentance, and dependence on God?
Read: Galatians 5:22–23, Romans 8:14–16
4. Do I have a growing love for God and His people?
Salvation draws us into relationship—with God and others.
Do I long to know God more through His Word and prayer?
Do I care about the church, other believers, and sharing the Gospel?
Read: John 10:27–28, 1 John 3:14, 1 John 4:7–8
5. Am I actively trusting in Christ today, not just remembering a one-time event to follow Him?
Salvation isn’t just something we once prayed—it’s a present, growing dependence on Jesus.
Am I following Jesus today, even when it’s hard?
When I fall, do I run back to Him in faith and repentance?
Read: Philippians 1:6, Hebrews 12:1–2, John 15:5
These questions aren’t here to make you doubt—they’re here to help you slow down, be honest with yourself, and draw closer to God if you believe you’re far.
If you’re not already part of a local church, take that step! We were never meant to figure out faith on our own. God designed us to grow in community—with people who will pray with us, walk beside us, teach us truth, and help us see clearly when we feel confused or stuck. Being rooted in a gospel-preaching church is one of the best ways to grow in assurance, spiritual maturity, and joy.
At the end of the day, your salvation isn’t about having all the right answers or perfect track record. It’s about whether you’ve truly trusted Jesus and are walking with Him. Only you and the Lord really know where your heart stands.
And if you're still unsure, that’s okay. Don’t run from the uncertainty—bring it to Him. He already knows your fears, your past, and your questions. He’s not asking you to clean yourself up or figure it all out. He’s simply inviting you to come, to trust, and to walk with Him—one honest step at a time.
